How to keep yourself from calling him......

I wouldn't necessarily delete his number as then you don't get caller ID if he does bother to call. What I do, though not always successfully, is change his name in my mobile address book to 'Don't' or something appropriate to whatever crime I feel he's committed i.e. 'inconsiderate jerk who cancelled at the last minute'.
